Covid-19 Changes & Cancellations

Covid-19 Changes & Cancellations

updated May 14, 2020

Based on directives from Bishop Johnston & our diocesan offices, the following cancellations and changes are in effect:

  • Public Masses will resume the weekend of May 16-17, subject to 10% occupancy limitations and a variety of protocols to ensure the safety of those attending. Please read this document to further understand the protocols.
Sunday liturgies will be broadcast on Facebook and  YouTube at 9:00 am.
Access the liturgy guide here for the Sixth Sunday of Easter - May 17, 2020.

  • Watch Bishop Johnston's May 5, 2020 video message here.

  • We expect to resume weekday Masses on Tuesday, May 19. Because disinfection is required between services, we will only offer one weekday Mass at 8:15 am, Tuesday-Friday. There will be no Saturday morning Mass at this time. Weekday Mass will be held in the nave to allow more attendees. Sign up is not required for weekday Mass; however, parish staff will be present and will close doors if occupancy limits are met.

  • If you are not receiving Visitation emails, you can subscribe in the bottom righthand corner of this page.

  • The sacrament of confession will be offered on Saturday at 3:00 pm per our normal schedule. Per  Bishop Johnston, INDIVIDUAL confessions heard in confessional boxes/confined rooms are suspended. Individual confessions may be celebrated in a well-ventilated area which can provide for social distancing and the confidentiality of the confession.

  • Wednesday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament has been suspended indefinitely.

  • In-person parish meetings, activities, small faith groups, rehearsals, social events etc. during which social distancing requirements can not been met have been suspended through August 10, 2020.

We will continue to update this page frequently as additional information becomes available.
