Accelerated Reader
Accelerated Reader is a computerized learning system designed to help motivate, monitor and manage student’s independent reading. Books are assigned a reading level. Students take a reading assessment to determine their reading level range. Students read a book and take a quiz for that book on a computer in the school. The program is now web based and students have access to over 118,000 quizzes. Implementation of the program is determined by the teacher.
